During my previous experience in classroom teaching, I focused on tailoring sessions to work on specific language skills (e.g: speaking, writing, listening, etc.) based on student feedback. For example, I know that many students often struggle the most with speaking and listening exercises, so I have experience in helping students to improve their confidence and pronunciation in speaking exercises. I also studied French and Spanish at both GCSE and A-Level myself, so I'm familiar with the format of the exams and content.

For the first session, I would like to focus on getting to know the student and their current language skills, as well as areas that they feel they struggle with, so as to plan accordingly for future sessions. Whether that's issues around grammar or vocabulary relating to a specific topic, whatever we work on is completely up to you! I am very happy to set homework if needed, and to give feedback on any work done in sessions or for independent revision. I am also happy to create tailored learning materials based on the student's needs, either to be worked through together or independently during the session.

I like to provide a safe, welcoming space for students, so my sessions tend to be rather informal. Both weekday and weekend sessions are acceptable, I will try my best to work around you and your schedule.
