My tutoring approaches-
I understand that different people learn in different ways, so my tutoring style can be entirely flexible to what sort of thing works for you. I mainly aim to offer help and guidance with revision and exam preparation but am also able to teach specific content, with exams questions and structures in mind. I also will look at the different ways revision can be approached and I can dedicate time in our tutoring sessions to help work out what style works best for you, be it flashcards, practice papers or you teaching me what you have learnt. My position in having not too long ago sat these exams myself means I am not only going to be able to relate to you, but I have my own tips and tricks I used through GCSE and A level exams that I can introduce you too. I believe in teaching to the mark scheme, meaning you would not only be learning the content but learning how to sit the exam and how to write what you have learnt in the way examiners want you to. I am also happy to adapt the session structure for those who prefer a more rigid or more fluid feel to help them focus.
My Background-
I achieved grades; 8 in History GCSE and English Literature GCSE, 9 in English Language GCSE (2023) and C in English Literature A-Level , B in History A-Level and Classical Civilisation A-Level (2025).
I'm now studying BA Ancient History and History at the University of Reading.
