Hi! ??

I am a sixth form student and The Blue Coat Sixth Form in Oldham. I take A-Level English Literature, Politics and History. I also am completing an EPQ.
I passed all my GCSE’s and have 3 law certificates from young professionals. I was also one of the few people chosen to attend the 2026 Law Conference at the University of Cambridge in April. I also have a certificate from Lloyd’s Banking Group for 2 days legal work experience. As a tutor I like to firstly get to know the students and have a talk with them and their parents/guardians about what they wish to achieve from tutoring. I will then teach the students their exam boards mark schemes and help them compare that to their work so in the long term when it comes to their exams they know exactly what to keep in mind to get those top marks. I will work with the students through their homework to make sure they don’t have too many academic pressures. I will also keep the sessions focused on their work inside the classroom. The work completed in the tutoring sessions will be a mix of revision of previous content, doing work on the current content to improve performance and memory and then having a brief overview of what’s to come in the future content to give them a head start. We will complete and talk through past papers and identify common mistakes by students in exams. After knowing the students learning style for a while I also find new ways of learning that is fun and easier to remember for the students to help strengthen those weaknesses in lessons while also making learning fun.
