I have studied English throughout my entire life, I lived in Ireland for the last four years, two during the pandemic when I had to move in with an Irish family to mind their kids and that gave me the best chance possible to fully reach the fluency level I wanted. I understand the struggle of not being able to communicate and I can help you!
I like to keep my classes dynamic with the use of music, videos and even memes to help my students understand how the language is used by native speakers and to help them immerse themselves into the culture of the language they are learning, Brazilian Portuguese or English. I have worked in different language schools that used the most different teaching methods, so I can guarantee nothing too easy actually works, otherwise, you wouldn't be looking for a private tutor, right? Through Zoom we will discuss your goals and create a plan specific to you! I love grammar, but not everybody does, so we will always talk a lot and try to make you stop overthinking and focus on communicating. We can always schedule a trial class to discuss your expectations and needs before deciding on what to do. It will be my pleasure to help you either learn or improve your Portuguese or English.
