For these reasons I usually take the first lesson to get to know my student and then develop a tailor-made journey for him/her which is gonna be based on music, hobbies, and things that simply are relevant to him/her.
That's because I really believe that one subject can easily be applied to our everyday life, and nothing is impossible to understand.
