Gildevan Silva Dos Santos

I have an Honors degree of Foreign Languages and International Affairs
with a minor in film studies. Brazil is my birth country but I've been living all over the globe since completion of my undergraduate studies. My past experiences include but not limited to translation services as a freelancer for
3 years, English language instructor for 2+ years at college level in Brazil, 1/5 years of English Teacher at language schools in Brazil and recent certified as a global teacher by AIESEC.

Furthermore, I have studied from York University, Canada, with an English Language certificate and acquired further training communication upon arrival back in Brazil in 2015.

I have been offered places for higher studies at renowned international institutions, such as Auckland University, Bristol and Newcastle as it been offered places for higher studies at

I'm a trained singer by Federal University of Paraiba, João Pessoa, Brazil and and singing in foreign Languages definitely had an impact on my overall learning journey. Music is constantly one of the tools I use to make my classes entertaining and immersive. Learning doesn't have to be boring and exhausting and my Turkish students living proof of my commitment to my craft.

Open communication and mutual respect are my reminders of what efficient teaching can be and my students often trust me with their insecurities because they know I'll help them move forward. Because of my cinema research and technology design background, current developments in these fields help me establish meaningful interactions with students, which adds to their growth as individuals.
