Using scientifically proven methods such as spaced repetition, I focus on exam technique and ensuring that your child needs to know what is specifically needed for their tests! 60% of students already know their content but lack the exam knowledge to transfer their knowledge to a test paper.

Through Google classroom and using an interactive whiteboard, me and my students go through exam questions that mentally stimulate them but do not put them past their limits. Through consistency, Parents and Children alike see improvement and confidence increases!

Many tutors focus on increasing their hours and this doesn't have your child as first priority - this isn't the case with me. I reccomend less tutoring hours and more hours spent outside of tutoring as work I set using the university-level techniques I utilise. This saves you, as the parent, both time and money. Students enjoy my lessons and the dynamic as we go through topics in a manner which relates to questions directly, in contrast to how comprehensive schools focus only on syllabus content within a vacuum with little regard to how it would translate onto an exam paper.

All I ask from students is honesty with themselves, and to inform me of where they struggle so we can target those weak points together to create a well rounded skillset that equips them for their GCSE and A level exams. If need be - they can attend booster classes during the holidays which can be crucial for some students to achieve their goals and aspirations, whether that be for University applications or to gain entry into their preferred sixth form or college.
