Each lesson will revolve around a specific aspect of French language learning (Reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar) and involve a mixture of classroom exercises. Students will be pratice their speaking abilities by engaging in things such as mock role play scenarios to build up their confidence when speaking and improve their command of the language.

For written competency, we will engage with a number of different news articles and other readily available French litterature. Students will be asked to translate sections and highlight any difficult vocabulary or grammar points. This will lend itself to real world application through the digestion of French media and literary works.

For getting accustomed to accents and the sound of spoken French, we will also listen to and watch French music, videos, movie scenes etc. This is a less rigid method for language learning and fosters the relaxed and welcoming learning environment that I seek to create.

I may also ask for students to continue their work outside of the lesson by assigning them small worksheets, vocabulary lists or a small excerpt to translate before the next class. This is not mandatory but a means for those seeking to seek more out of their tutoring experience and engage with the language on a deeper level.

I hope that all my future potential students find this format enriching and helpgul as my previous students have. I am also open to any suggestions for class work and topics suggested by my students.

Thanks you for taking the time to read this and I hope you find this system suitable for you,
Gerard
