As a qualified teacher, I consider myself to be creative, enthusiastic and attentive to detail. I believe effective lesson planning is the foundation of impactful teaching and learning. My approach to lesson planning is founded on a commitment to clarity, inclusivity, and pupil engagement. I aim to design lessons that are well-structured and aligned with curriculum standards while remaining adaptable to the diverse needs of learners. I have attended numerous courses to deepen my understanding of how children learn and the complex barriers many face. With a strong understanding of pedagogy and SEND needs, I strive to transform complex topics into engaging and accessible experiences for learners of all abilities and backgrounds. I work hard to ensure that I include a vast range of resources from different nationalities and races into my lessons, so that my pupils see themselves represented and celebrated in the curriculum. I believe in fostering curiosity and critical thinking and aim to incorporate real-world connections, thought-provoking questions, and interactive activities to promote active participation; encouraging learners to want to go beyond the scope of the lesson and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.
