As well as having a qualification in teaching English as a foreign language, I also have over two years' worth of tutoring and teaching experience. Not only do I have experience as a teacher, but also as a student, too! In 2021 I moved to Paris to work as an English tutor and nanny to a family, where learning French was completely new to me! So I know exactly how it feels to be a student, and in fact, this has helped me to tailor my lessons even more to the student's needs.

I have a relaxed teaching style, and I like to base my lessons around the lives of my students as much as possible. I find that when you're engaged, this is how you create the most productive learning environment My aim is to get to know each other so that I can use your interests and needs to help create the structure of our lessons. This means we can discuss topics like film, TV, fashion, art, sports, and even pottery if that's your thing!

Once we have found topics of conversation that you are enthusiastic to talk about, potentially trickier areas like grammar and pronunciation will be integrated seamlessly into our lessons.

For younger students, our lessons will be more focused around games and fun shorter activities which will get them talking whilst not losing their attention.
