George Grant

Hi, I am an English teacher from Auckland, New Zealand. I have taught English as a second language since 2005, in English First (in China), and then after a gap - from 2019 to in Thailand, both in live classes and online. Throughout these years, I have acquired considerable experience in working with international students. I create tailored lesson plans, for individuals or groups, conduct various language activities, quizzes, literary contests, etc. I have taught using variety of programs, among which were Cambridge, Australian and various ELA programs, such as "Worldly Wize", "English in Mind:, "Main Treasure", etc.

I am confident I can lead any class or individual student and deliver quality teaching, as I do enjoy this work, having experience in working with students of all levels and ages, from 7 y/o and up to adults. I am good at communicating and establishing rapport with students, helping them feel comfortable and engaged. My students enjoy our classes, are having fun in them and advance fast. At the same time, my teaching style provides fundamental knowledge of English grammar and literacy, word formation and creative writing.
