For me, the format of my lessons depend a lot on what you (the student) responds to best. If memorising helps you to learn a method, we can do that, if you take in information by understanding the logic behind the methods or formulas, then we will find a way to help you to understand the concept in a more intricate way. Either way, we will make sure that we work towards goals and regularly test knowledge, this is so that we can find strengths, and highlight the areas which you may find more difficult.

A huge part of my teaching methods will also be based off of what you would like to get out of the lessons. If you are looking to pass a test, this will involve solidifying knowledge and taking time to gain confidence in problem areas. If you are looking to achieve a high grade, we will solidify, but on top of this, understanding the logic behind any concepts will really allow you to dig deep and improve your ability to think on the spot and problem solve by combining formulas, methods, and logical thinking to be efficient and confident. All of the learning we will do, will focus on making sure that you feel confident in your knowledge and are able to build on your knowledge if you move onto complete the subject at a higher level.

Considering that I only came out of secondary 2 years ago, I also have a good understanding of how the current education system is designed, and therefore what is the best way to work in order to help you thrive within the curriculum.
