Native English Language tutor, DELTA qualified with 20 years teaching experience.

I have a Delta and PGCE. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for 15 years. I have taught in China and Indonesia, as well as In the UK at the University of Sheffield for 9 years teaching English for Academic, general, and business purposes.

My lessons are designed to your needs, they are informal, and friendly. I want you to enjoy the learning experience. I am a professional teacher with 20 years experience.

My teaching qualifications include a Cambridge Delta, an Advanced Diploma in Psychology of Education, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.

My journey started with instructing sports at the age of 19 and my experience grew from there. I have taught various sports, being an outdoor pursuits instructor, a trampolining coach, a Scout mentor, to a climbing instructor, and PADI Divemaster. I have taught both primary and secondary subjects in UK schools, and have Qualified Teacher Status. In my experience I have taught from 4 years of age to students in their 60's.

I have vast experience teaching ESL starting at the age of 25. I have taught for companies in both China and Indonesia, as well as tutoring privately one-to-one, secondary education, businesses, and qualified teachers from those countries during these times.

I spent 9 years tutoring at the University of Sheffield in Academic, general, and business English, ranging from beginners to advanced levels. I have taught IELTS preparation classes and social aspects of English.

Lessons will be delivered online via video link and any materials can be e-mailed. We can discuss your learning styles and what best suits you as a learner to benefit you in your English learning journey, whether that be at the beginning or one you've been on for many years.
