My lessons are designed to be collaborative, flexible, and student-led, offering a balance of structure and informality to create a comfortable space for learning. I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach – instead, I work with each student to identify their strengths, challenges, and learning preferences, tailoring sessions accordingly.

Rather than delivering long lectures, I focus on discussion-based learning and coaching-style techniques to encourage independent thinking and confidence in applying knowledge. I use interactive tools like Padlet to support exploration, planning, and critical reflection, and avoid over-reliance on PowerPoint or one-way teaching. My sessions often include real clinical examples and lived experience to contextualise learning, particularly in areas like complex patient decision-making and emergency care.

Alongside content delivery, I offer detailed support with academic writing and assessment preparation. I’m happy to review your draft work and provide constructive feedback mapped to learning outcomes, helping you understand what’s expected and how to reach your highest grade potential. This includes working together to break down assignment briefs, clarify academic expectations, and build the structure and argument of your work effectively.

For Level 3 students preparing to transition into higher education, I provide targeted sessions on academic skills, healthcare foundations, and confidence-building, so you feel ready for university-level study.

My aim is to make each session practical, engaging, and relevant to your goals – whether you're working through coursework, preparing for exams, or developing clinical understanding. Above all, I want you to leave each session feeling more confident and capable for whatever comes your way in your studies or career.
