My lessons are built around one idea: writing gets better through structure, honest feedback, and repetition — not luck or 'natural talent.' That's exactly the process I use in my own work. I'm currently 13 chapters into a full-length manuscript, which has meant going through the same cycle again and again: draft, get feedback, revise, and repeat until the writing actually says what I mean. I bring that same process into every lesson.

A typical session starts with figuring out where you're actually stuck — whether that's structuring an essay, finding your argument, tightening your grammar, or just getting words on the page in the first place. From there, we work on real writing: your essays, your assignments, your personal statements, or whatever you're being assessed on, rather than generic worksheets that don't connect to what you actually need. I'll give you direct, specific feedback (not just 'this is good' or 'this needs work'), and I'll explain the why behind every correction so you can apply it yourself next time, not just in this one piece.

Outside of writing itself, I also focus on the practical side that often gets overlooked: how to plan your time, break a big assignment into manageable steps, and build a study routine you'll actually stick to. This comes from years spent managing schedules and deadlines in client-facing roles, so accountability and follow-through are second nature to me.

Lessons are fully online, flexible around your schedule, and I adapt my approach depending on whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, university work, or professional writing. My goal isn't just to fix the piece in front of us — it's to leave you a stronger, more confident writer overall
