Gavin Arora

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Birmingham, currently reading for an integrated Master’s degree (MSci) in Mathematics and Computer Science.

As an experienced, professional tutor with over 100 hours of highly effective one-to-one teaching experience, I specialise exclusively in STEM subjects at GCSE and A-Level, covering Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science.

I take immense pride in helping my students unlock their full potential and achieve tangible, rapid academic results. For instance, I successfully guided a GCSE Computer Science student from a Grade 4 to a Grade 7 within just 10 hours of lessons, and I have mentored multiple A-Level Mathematics students to secure their target predicted grades of A*.

Beyond individual tutoring, I am deeply committed to the wider education sector and the creation of high-quality learning resources. I have collaborated directly with the popular A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics content creator, Bicen Maths, by writing original exam questions featured on his highly viewed exam-season revision livestreams. This rigorous question-design experience ensures I have a unique, profound insight into the mechanics of exam papers and grading criteria.

Outside of my academic and teaching pursuits, I am a passionate long-distance runner. Having already completed three half-marathons and a 30km race, I am currently training to run my first full marathon in 2027. I bring this same endurance, discipline, and goal-oriented focus to my lessons, inspiring confidence and resilience in every student I teach.
