My lessons are structured, interactive and tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are preparing for exams, strengthening their fundamentals or looking to explore Physics and Mathematics beyond the syllabus.

I begin by understanding the student’s current level, identifying areas where they are struggling and setting clear goals for the lesson. I then explain concepts step-by-step using simple language, diagrams, worked examples and, where appropriate, real-world applications. Rather than simply teaching students to memorise formulas, I focus on helping them understand the underlying principles and develop a logical approach to solving problems.

A typical lesson combines explanation, guided problem-solving and independent practice. I encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning, which helps identify misconceptions and builds confidence. For exam preparation, I also incorporate past-paper questions, exam techniques and strategies for approaching unfamiliar problems. I can also help students prepare for university applications, academic interviews and entrance examinations.

I have experience teaching students at different levels through my work as a Physics and Mathematics Tutor, an Astrophysics Supervisor at the University of Cambridge, a STEM Ambassador and a student mentor. I have also supported many students with exam preparation, interview preparation and developing the confidence needed to tackle challenging academic problems. In addition, I have experience teaching undergraduate students in practical physics laboratories, helping them connect theoretical concepts with experiments, measurements and data analysis.

My lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-level and university students. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students achieve better results, but also to build genuine understanding, confidence and enthusiasm for Physics and Mathematics.
