My lessons are structured, interactive and tailored to each student’s needs, whether they are preparing for exams, strengthening their fundamentals or looking to explore Physics and Mathematics beyond the syllabus.
I begin by understanding the student’s current level, identifying areas where they are struggling and setting clear goals for the lesson. I then explain concepts step-by-step using simple language, diagrams, worked examples and, where appropriate, real-world applications. Rather than simply teaching students to memorise formulas, I focus on helping them understand the underlying principles and develop a logical approach to solving problems.
A typical lesson combines explanation, guided problem-solving and independent practice. I encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning, which helps identify misconceptions and builds confidence. For exam preparation, I also incorporate past-paper questions, exam techniques and strategies for approaching unfamiliar problems.
I have experience teaching students at different levels through my work as a Physics and Mathematics Tutor, an Astrophysics Supervisor at the University of Cambridge, a STEM Ambassador and a student mentor. I also have experience teaching undergraduate students in practical physics laboratories, where I helped students connect theoretical concepts with experiments and data analysis.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE, A-level and university students. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace.
