I have been teaching for approximately on line for 8 years. I have mainly taught Chinese students from the ages of 3 years to 75 years. I used the materialman provided by the company and expanded on the topics or stories used. I had many regular students that I taught on a daily and weekly basis in a 25 minute time slot. I often used props, pictures and Pepper pig stories with the younger ones to help them relax and have fun in class. Older students quiet often liked to do some free talk about things they liked or were interested in and asked many questions from the teacher, this gave them confidence to use the language outside the class. I also used topics with the materials provided for the more advanced students about history or space and the environment etc. and expanded on them giving the students a chance to give there own views and thoughts. For some mature students I did a little of business English , mainly discussing there company and how they should portray themselves and act and when having meetings with a native English speakers, I enjoy teaching children and adults, it is so rewarding hearing them speak all you have taught, I am a easy going teacher who loves to have fun and listen to all what my students say.
