My lessons are based on the students needs i.e. if they want to learn a song to play along with on guitar. I will help them understand the basics of the chords used, how the melody works in a song, and how to write your own song. I will then move on to basic theory and explain why certain chords sound good together and get a student to write their own chord progressions after showing exapmles of famous artist's songs.
Each week I will introduce a new levelof understanding to writing a song such as melody, harmonic progressions, lyric writing, borrowing chords, circle of fifths, basic notation and rhythm understanding. I will set up small tasks each week for a student to complete based on what level of understanding they are at.
Finally, I will give them guidance on how to mix and produce their songs and publish them.
