Gareth Rosbrook

I am a Head of Science and have been teaching for nearly 15 years. I have a wealth of experience in teaching the AQA Science Curriculum and am a Senior examiner for OCR exam board heavily involved in the standardisation of the Chemistry mark scheme. I have a BSc (Hons) in Medical Biochemistry and a PhD in Cancer Biochemistry from the University of Leeds and a PGCE from Newcastle University.

I have been tutoring Science for over a decade and now offer online tuition for GCSE Sciences and A-level Chemistry. This provides many benefits including the ability to any resources/work that we build together as tools for further independent revision. This has proven highly successful in recent years with students growing in confidence and performance in their Science qualifications.

I offer 1:1 and small group tuition depending on the needs and the preferences of the student. I am extremely patient with a huge knowledge of educational theory, how students learn effectively which allows us to work together to be more impactful in your success.

Success comes from tutor and tutee working together. Initially I will assess your needs and tailor our program to you everyone is of course different. The natural benefits of tuition is that you can access this tailored support in a smaller setting, you don't have to share the attention with 30 other students. I will continue to monitor your progress and adapt your program to allow you to embed your knowledge and continue to grow.
