Gabrielle Seymour

I am a 3rd year Medical student, with A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-Level. I am passionate about science, wanting to share this with students and allow them to do the best they can!

I have volunteered in my local community tutoring secondary students and GCSE students in science subjects. I am also a qualified sailing instructor with 4 years experience.

I am flexible in my teaching approach, and my experiences teaching a wide range of students with different abilities allows me to easily adapt to students’ learning styles.

My lessons can be varied depending on what is needed: teaching or consolidating topics, going through past papers, or learning exam technique. I will focus on really learning and understanding the material, then moving on to answering questions, and finally some advanced questions in order to stretch the brain so that the topic can be applied to any question!

Although I have now gone into a lot more scientific depth at university, I am up to date on the GCSE syllabi. I am also competent in breaking topics down into manageable chunks to make things less confusing!
