My approach to teaching Spanish is rooted in empathy, flexibility, and practical application. As a native speaker who successfully learned English as a second language, I understand the challenges and initial struggles of building confidence and finding your voice. This personal journey inspires me to make the learning process simple and easy to grasp for everyone.

I begin every new tutoring relationship with a simple proficiency check to understand your current level, goals (be it travel, conversation, or exams), and preferred learning style. From there, I create fully personalized lessons that are easy to follow and directly target your needs.

My lessons prioritize active conversation over rote memorization. To keep the learning dynamics fun and engaging online, I utilize interactive digital whiteboards and tools for activities like "Picture Prompt" storytelling and simple role-playing scenarios. This ensures that vocabulary is always put into practical use.

For young learners (ages 4–12, based on my Montessori experience), I use engaging, interactive resources and fun dynamics. For older students and those aiming for high-stakes exams like GCSE or A-level (equivalent to my CXC experience), we focus on mastering practical grammar and reinforcing concepts with relevant exam materials and real-world scenarios.

My ultimate goal is to remove the intimidation factor and make Spanish achievable, whether you want to pass an exam or simply hold a natural conversation with a Spanish speaker. I look forward to helping you achieve fluency!
