My experience prior is with students younger than me in my school. I have prepared presentations on topics across history, and I was a mentor for students younger than me doing their GCSEs whilst I was in school. I am adaptable in my teaching style, and I have a very good knowledge of GCSE History, having achieved a grade 9, and an A at A-level. I will focus on interactive lessons which keep the student stimulated and allowing them to both learn more and enjoy the lessons. However, where neccessary, I can also provide more content for the student to learn. A typical lesson would begin with a quick quiz on the topic in question, and working out where is a strong point and where is a weaker point. I will holistically cover the content of the lesson, put it in exam format to prepare them for future exams, and cover the content in an interactive method. As a student myself, I understand that being lectured and overwhelmed with information is not the most effective way for a lot of people to learn. I will ensure that students leave the lesson having learnt in the lesson, and with a smile on their face.
