My lessons are structured, clear, and tailored specifically to you.
At the beginning, we clarify your goals—whether that’s singing confidently at open mics, improving pitch accuracy, building technique, accompanying yourself at the piano, developing your ear, or preparing for auditions and recordings. From there, I create a simple, step-by-step progression so you always know exactly what you’re working on and why.
Each lesson focuses on what actually makes a difference: eliminating strain and tension, fixing cracks and inconsistency, improving control, tone, and range, and applying everything directly to real songs so it feels natural and usable. I also incorporate ear training and listening skills so you’re not just following instructions—you’re understanding what you’re hearing and doing.
A typical lesson includes targeted technical work, guided exercises, real-song application, and clear feedback so you know exactly what to adjust. You’ll also receive simple, effective practice strategies so you can continue improving between lessons, not just during them.
I’ve been teaching for over 30 years and have worked with singers and musicians of all ages and levels. One of my strengths is quickly identifying what’s happening and giving you clear, practical ways to fix it. I focus on results without overcomplicating things—no confusing terminology, just straightforward guidance that works.
Lessons are always adapted to the individual. Whether you’re a complete beginner, a returning singer, or someone who benefits from a more supportive and structured approach, I make sure you feel comfortable, understood, and able to make steady progress. I also have experience working with students who require a more personalized pace and clear, consistent structure, and I adjust accordingly to help them succeed.
My goal isn’t just to teach exercises—it’s to help you understand your voice (or instrument) so you can use it with confidence, consistency, and control in real situations.
Most students notice improvement quickly because we focus on what actually matters and avoid unnecessary complexity. You’ll leave each lesson knowing exactly what to do and how to do it.
If you’re looking for lessons that are practical, supportive, and results-driven, I’ve got you.
