Merhaba (Hello). I am a native Turkish tutor based in London.

I have been teaching in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature for almost 12 years at one of the best universities in Turkey. I have also worked as a Turkish tutor for foreigners for many years.

If you are an academic and want to learn Turkish (or even the Ottoman language), you are with the right tutor.

I had my bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. in the Turkish Language at the top three universities in Turkey. When you search for my name on Google, you will find my academic background, my books, and articles related to Turkish studies (Funda San)

I am a native Turkish speaker. I can also speak English, Arabic, and Persian. If you especially know these three languages, I can help you to learn Turkish much easier and more fun. If not, English will be more than enough to communicate.

I have lived in Istanbul for twenty years, in the meantime I have been in some other countries for a few months to study or do research.

I have been in London for almost two years and continued doing my research and online teaching on the Turkish Language.

ABOUT THE LESSON:
It is a one-on-one online lesson. After each lesson, you will receive the lesson slides via email. Since I conduct the lesson via Zoom, there is an opportunity to record it so you can watch it later.

One hour per week will be sufficient due to the intense content covered in each lesson.
