I offer tutoring in Russian and German and, whether you’re a beginner or looking to polish your skills in preparation for an exam, I will tailor lessons to your needs. Through engaging classes founded on authentic Russian and German material, such as film, literature, and radio, I will help you to develop the skills you are looking to improve, whether it’s listening or reading comprehension or gaining confidence speaking :)

I received my own education from native speakers online and in-person and have studied at the University of Innsbruck, Austria and an international language school in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Therefore, my classes are inspired by my own experiences of the cultures that accompany the language.

My teaching approach is communicative and student-centred, meaning lessons are built around your goals, interests, and preferred learning style. I focus on practical language use from the very beginning so that you gain confidence expressing yourself naturally and are prepared for authentic communication. Grammar and vocabulary are always explained clearly and your knowledge will be reinforced through real examples and active use. Our aim will be to find a method that works for you :)

I work with both young learners and teens, including students preparing for GCSE and A-level exams, as well as those learning for travel, work, or personal interest. Lessons are structured yet flexible, combining conversation, targeted exercises, and cultural context to keep learning engaging and effective.
