As a recent TEFL graduate who gained practical experience teaching English in Poland, I will incorporate the teaching practices I used when conversing with native Polish pupils to improve their proficiency in English. This is influenced by the Conversational Approach, which focuses on creating a stimulating two-way conversation between a native English speaker and a non-native English speaker, to immerse the learner in their language learning experience. These lessons will replicate real-life conversation scenarios and different topics will be discussed, depending on the level required. Though there will be no formal focus on grammar, I can provide corrective feedback during the sessions if requested by the pupil.
