I am a native French speaker with a PGCE, trained in the UK, and with over 10 years of experience teaching in the classroom (from Reception to A-Level). Alongside this, I have also delivered more than 10 years of private tutoring to students of all ages, from primary to A-Level, supporting exam preparation as well as transitions into the French educational system.

Over time, I have developed a wide range of skills that enable me to guide learners effectively towards their goals.

In our first lesson, I take time to:

Identify your learner profile

Assess any challenges you may face

Understand your goals

Begin work on spoken comprehension and expression

From there, I create a tailored learning plan, explaining how lessons will be structured and which tools we will use.

Whether you are starting French for the very first time, revisiting it after finding it overwhelming in the past, or seeking to deepen your understanding of French language and culture, my aim is to support you in a way that feels natural, structured, and motivating.

I also work with families where French is a heritage language, helping parents support their children’s learning. If you are preparing for French citizenship, brushing up your conversational skills for travel, or simply wanting to enjoy French more confidently, I can help.

In addition, as a native French speaker who has lived in the UK for over 15 years, I have reached a near-native level of English. Having studied English language and linguistics at university, I combine a deep understanding of English grammar with fluency to help French learners build confidence in their English skills too.
