I have been teaching both middle-school and university students Italian Grammar, Conversation, Listening and Writing for about four years, both in Italy to foreign students as well as abroad (Iceland).

I have a MA English Linguistics and I am able to understand the nuances of linguistic expression, having studied languages by myself.

I try to use simple textbooks that provide not only grammar exercises, but also games/crosswords/puzzles to help the students remember what the lesson entailed.

Grammar is the core of my lessons; however, after covering the basics I try to immerse the student immediately in conversation and writing exercises.
A part of my classes is also dedicated to listening and translating famous Italian songs as well as watching movies and documentaries dubbed in Italian, so as to help the student acquire the language through video and audio material as well.

I am also available for essay writings and proofreading of Italian texts.
