My lessons are practical, structured, and focused on building real confidence. I start by understanding what you want to achieve — whether that’s improving your drawing skills, learning digital design tools, building a portfolio, or creating professional-looking branding for a business. Every session is tailored, rather than following a rigid template.
For beginners, we break skills down into manageable steps so nothing feels overwhelming. I explain the “why” behind techniques, not just the “how,” so you understand design principles such as composition, colour, layout, and visual balance. For digital work, we can focus on tools such as Canva or other creative software, working through live demonstrations and guided practice so you learn by doing.
I also teach how to leverage AI tools effectively within the creative process. Rather than replacing creativity, I show students how AI can support idea generation, mood boards, concept development, content planning, and workflow efficiency — while still maintaining originality and creative control. Understanding how to use AI strategically is becoming an essential modern skill, and I aim to teach it responsibly and practically.
If you’re building a portfolio or working towards coursework, I provide constructive feedback and clear direction on how to improve your work. My background in Animation (BA Hons, 2:1) and experience running my own graphic design business means I combine creative development with real-world insight — helping you develop your own skills and create work that is both expressive and purposeful.
Sessions are relaxed but focused, with clear outcomes so you can see measurable progress. I aim to create an encouraging environment where questions are welcomed and experimentation is supported, while still maintaining structure and accountability.
Above all, my goal is to help you leave each lesson feeling more capable, clearer in your direction, and proud of the work you’re producing — with skills you can confidently apply independently beyond our sessions.
