My sessions are supportive, structured, and tailored to each individual student. I take a person-centred approach, creating a calm, non-judgemental space where students feel comfortable to talk openly about their challenges and goals.

We begin by identifying what the student would like to achieve, whether that’s improving focus, managing stress, building confidence, or developing better organisation and study habits. Together, we break these goals down into manageable steps and explore practical strategies that feel realistic and achievable.

Sessions typically combine goal-setting, reflection, and skill-building. I support students to develop techniques for time management, prioritisation, and maintaining motivation, while also helping them understand and manage any underlying challenges such as anxiety or overwhelm. We regularly review progress, celebrating successes and adapting strategies where needed.

With over 14 years of experience in mentoring and counselling, I bring a strong understanding of how emotional wellbeing impacts learning. My approach is warm, encouraging, and flexible, helping students to feel supported while also gently challenged to move forward.
Ultimately, my aim is not just to help students succeed academically, but to build their confidence, resilience, and independence so they can continue to thrive beyond our sessions.
