Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and it has shaped the way I see the world. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the art and science behind capturing moments that tell a story. My journey began with a simple point-and-shoot camera, and through practice and dedication, I’ve honed my skills to master more advanced equipment and techniques.
In my photography classes, I focus on teaching the fundamentals, including camera basics and composition. I believe that understanding your camera is crucial to unleashing your creative potential. I teach my students how to properly use settings like aperture, shutter speed, and ISO to control exposure and achieve the desired effect. Whether they are using a DSLR, mirrorless, or even a smartphone, I emphasize the importance of getting to know their equipment.
In addition to technical skills, I place a strong emphasis on composition, as it is the foundation of a great photograph. I guide my students through concepts such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, and framing, helping them to develop an eye for creating visually compelling images. My goal is to help each student find their unique perspective and style, allowing them to capture the world around them in a way that is both personal and impactful.
Teaching photography is a fulfilling experience, and I am passionate about helping others discover the joy of capturing beautiful moments through the lens.
