Floribeth Pena De Amador

Hello! I’m Floribeth, a native Spanish speaker and fully qualified teacher with over ten years of tutoring experience. Since 2015, I have supported children, teenagers and adults, including GCSE and A-level students. I also have experience teaching Spanish and French in UK secondary schools.

My lessons are available online or in person in Westcliff-on-Sea and surrounding areas. We will begin by discussing your goals, interests and level so I can plan sessions that suit you. Whether you want to improve your grades, communicate confidently on holiday or enjoy learning a new language, we will work towards your objectives together.

Online lessons take place using the recommended platform, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. I use interactive presentations, shared resources and practical activities to keep sessions varied. In-person lessons offer the same personalised approach. A typical session includes a recap, new vocabulary or grammar, guided practice and opportunities to use Spanish independently.

You will develop speaking, listening, reading and writing through conversations, role plays, short texts and audio activities. I explain grammar clearly, model pronunciation and encourage you to speak without worrying about making mistakes. For younger learners, I include games, pictures and age-appropriate challenges.

For GCSE and A-level students, I offer support with exam questions, speaking preparation, writing techniques and revision. Lessons reflect your exam board and the areas you find most challenging. You will receive constructive feedback, useful resources and optional practice between sessions. My aim is to help you feel supported, recognise your progress and enjoy learning Spanish.
