My Spanish lessons are fully tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I focus on building real confidence in speaking, as well as strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, and writing. Lessons are structured but interactive, combining clear explanation with active use of the language so students are not just learning rules, but actually using Spanish from the start.

A typical lesson includes guided speaking practice, targeted grammar teaching, and exam-focused exercises where relevant (GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, IB, or IELTS-style skills). I place particular emphasis on spoken Spanish, encouraging students to build fluency and reduce hesitation through consistent, supportive conversation practice. I also use exam board materials and past papers when preparing students for assessments, ensuring they feel fully confident with both content and technique.

With experience supporting over 20 students to high grades, I understand how to adapt my teaching to different abilities, whether building confidence from beginner level or refining advanced fluency. My approach is structured but engaging, helping students make steady, measurable progress while also enjoying the learning process and gaining real confidence in using Spanish.

Florence is an absolutely amazing teacher! She helped me move from a predicted 6 in GCSE Spanish to a grade 9. She was especially helpful with the speaking tasks, correcting me when needed and providing excellent phrases I could use in an exam. She also made me feel very at ease in the lessons and helped get me speaking in Spanish. Her suggestions on grammar were very useful and helped to correct a number of bad habits that I had.
