Hi, I'm Florence!

I recently graduated from the University of Bath with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Natural Sciences, specialising in Pharmacology and Biochemistry. Before university, I achieved A*A*A at A-level in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I tutor GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths, as well as A-level Biology and Chemistry.

I tailor every lesson to the individual student, adapting the pace and teaching style to suit their goals, confidence and learning preferences. My aim is not only to help students achieve excellent results, but also to develop a genuine understanding of the subject so they feel confident applying their knowledge independently.

Lessons are interactive and encourage students to ask questions throughout. I explain complex concepts step by step using diagrams, worked examples and exam-style questions to reinforce understanding. Whether we're reviewing class content, tackling difficult topics or preparing for exams, I focus on building both knowledge and confidence.

Having completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students face and the techniques that can make revision more effective. My goal is to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are motivated to achieve their full potential.
