I use a shared online whiteboard called excalidraw to present my lessons. I lay out learning materials and questions prepared before the lesson and then dive straight into annotating and teaching while the student follows along.
This way, the student can annotate with me and answer any questions I attach with the text tool. They can also practice drawing any necessary diagrams and I find this dual-coded mode of learning highly effective for memorisation.
