I will revolve my teaching around my subject's needs. I am experienced in tutoring for GCSE/ A-Levels as I have helped family friends in the past with such. My wish is to make class environments enjoyable. To do this I will provide a structure that makes the study students put in rewarding and especially self-fulfilling. English is a subject wherein one's personal interest can translate to intellectual gain and enjoyability: I hope to bring this out within my students. Furthermore, I would require myself to read texts I am unfamiliar with if a student needs to study it theirselves.

I have a deep knowledge on early and pre modern texts from University as well as the modern novel. Currently I study in Bristol university, transitioning into second year. Furthermore, my favourite texts include Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, Great Expectations and King Lear. I am well versed in other works of Shakespeare and Dickens like Twelth Night, Macbeth and Great Expectations. My favourite era of Literature is the midcentury American Novel, where I have studied many books across the varying genres of the era.

I also write part-time in several journals, often covering current events for the university newspaper and work in an academic-investigative style for passion projects. This will help deeply for students studying English Language. I know how to help develop students' structured arguments for longer writing projects and therefore also develop their shorter analysis focused arguments on said texts.

Furthermore, I am deeply invested in the creative scene within Bristol. Most commonly, I am helping with short film narriative projects, such as script writing and producing. This gives me strength in tackling fiction writing also.

Researching Middle English has taught me deeply about the development of English Language, which many students face in A-Level classes. I am familiarised with how to read early forms of English, as well as how best to dissect and analyse it. Behind this, there is an entire world of works often not seen by the average person.
