Finlay Dorsett

I am a final-year biology student at Imperial College London. I have achieved A* grades in GCSE and A level biology and am predicted a 1:1 grade for my degree. I have research experience in neuroscience but have developed practical skills and knowledge in a breadth of fields.

In our sessions, I aim to build understanding, not just memorisation. I will break down difficult concepts into manageable parts, and supplement learning with exam-style questions to help build confidence and prepare for exams.

I aim to be as flexible as I can, changing my teaching approach to suit the student. I will tailor my tutoring to suit the student's learning style and objectives—whether they are aiming for certain grades or to increase their general understanding of biology.

In addition to providing support on the subject matter, I can offer guidance on university applications (university research, personal statements, etc.), internship/placement applications, as well as giving general advice regarding life at university.
