Fin Statham

I am currently an Undergraduate English student at the University of Bristol. In my first year, I received a First Class mark, the highest available. Now, I am in my second year, and I am predicted to achieve the same grade at the end of this year, based on assignments which I have submitted so far this year.

In my A-Level exams, I received A’s in both English Literature and English Language, and at GCSE, I received 9’s in both subjects.

As a tutor, I will focus on exam skills and essay writing advice in order to help you to improve your assessed work. At A-Level, I received an A* in every assignment I submitted, so I am familiar with the essay structure that should be used to ensure that you are writing a high level piece of work.

For GCSE students, I can help you to develop basic close reading skills in order to improve your analysis of set texts, and help you to structure this analysis into an essay structure which works for you and that your examiner will love.
