My lessons are built around one simple idea: you learn English by actually using it.
We’ll start by talking about your goals, interests and the situations in which you want to use English. From there, I’ll build lessons around topics that are genuinely relevant to you. That might mean discussing an article, a film or a topic you’re passionate about, working with real-life materials, practising a situation you might encounter at work or university, or focusing on a particular area of grammar or vocabulary.
Speaking is an important part of my lessons, but our conversations always have a purpose. I’ll listen for patterns in your English, identify areas that are holding you back, and use these to plan what we work on next.
I believe lessons should feel relaxed enough that you’re not afraid to make mistakes, while still having clear structure and progress. I won’t interrupt you every time something goes wrong. Instead, we’ll decide what is most useful to correct and work on it together.
I’m particularly interested in working with adults who want to feel more confident using English in real life, whether for work, study, travel or simply for themselves.
There’s no one-size-fits-all formula in my lessons. As we get to know each other, I’ll adapt what we do to your interests, strengths and difficulties, so that your lessons evolve alongside your English.
I would love to invite you to test out my approach during the trial lesson and see if we are a good fit!
