I am currently an Assistant Construction Site Manager with the aim of being a Contracts Manager. I am 1 year into my Construction Engineering degree, which involves a lot of Mathematics. Previous to this degree, I completed 4 A Levels, including A Level Maths, which I achieved a grade C in. Before this I completed 11 GCSEs, which included Mathematics and Further Mathematics. My lessons will include the methods and techniques which helped me to strive in the exams which I completed. The lessons will be bright and colourful, with many sketches/ images to help the student to further understand the information in which I am trying to feed them. I will use diagrams and sketches to explain in detail the steps involved in solving each problem and I will break each section of the answer down with well presented examples for the students to follow. After a couple of worked examples I will assign a couple of similar questions for the student to solve and provide feedback/ praise on the answers provided by them. I will use the past papers and relevant websites to base my notes and materials for learning on to ensure that the student is well prepared for the exams in which they are studying for. I will be available any hours of the day to ensure that the student has the support they need, even when I am not online.
