Ferraga Mo

I was born in Hong Kong and moved to England in 2020, so I understand what it feels like to adapt to a new education system and face new academic challenges. This experience helps me connect with students who may feel unsure or need extra support. My lessons are structured but flexible: I begin with a short review to check understanding, introduce new topics with clear explanations, and then guide students through practice questions step by step. I teach Maths, English and Geography in a simple and relatable way, using worksheets, mini-quizzes and interactive activities to make sure students truly understand the concepts rather than just memorising answers. I focus on building both knowledge and confidence, creating a calm and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. At the end of each lesson, I give feedback and set small goals so students can see their progress and stay motivated to improve.
Outside of lessons, I prepare personalised materials based on each student’s needs and learning style. I track progress over time and adjust my teaching methods to make sure every student gets the support they need. My aim is to make learning less stressful, more enjoyable, and ultimately help students achieve strong results they can be proud of. I also encourage students to develop good study habits and independent thinking skills, so they become more confident learners in the long term.
I always aim to make lessons engaging, supportive and productive, so students feel valued, understood and capable of achieving their goals.
