I like to use diagrams and colors to make things clear. But I can adjust to different people’s styles of learning.

I aim to start every lesson with checking in with students and asking what they would like to go over during the lesson: whether they have been struggling with anything specific. This can be topics or skills. By the end of each lesson I will run a quick quiz or have a go at exam questions. I will set an exam question for homework to check the confidence of the student and determine whether more support on the particular area is needed.

Learning exam technique throughout the study timeline is essential for A Levels Biology due to the specificity of the AQA board: I will incorporate this often.
