To deliver effective and engaging online English and Italian language lessons, I would use a structured yet flexible format. Lessons would typically be held via Zoom or Google Meet, using screen sharing for interactivity. Each session would be 45–60 minutes, starting with a brief warm-up or review to reinforce previous learning.

I’d structure lessons around the four key skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—with a clear focus for each session (e.g., vocabulary, grammar point, or communicative theme). I would use slides or a digital whiteboard (e.g., Jamboard or Canva presentations) to visually support explanations and new vocabulary, and incorporate real-world materials such as short videos, songs, articles, or dialogues. I will also reccomend films, tv shows etc. which enhance the student's understanding.

Interactive tools like Quizlet (for vocab), Kahoot (for quick revision), and Google Docs (for collaborative writing) would help reinforce learning and keep students engaged. I’d encourage regular speaking practice and give feedback on pronunciation, grammar and handling of vocabulary in real time.

Homework would be shared through Google Classroom or email, with optional follow-up quizzes or voice recording tasks via platforms like Flip or Vocaroo to support speaking and listening skills. I’d also offer short progress check-ins to support learners individually.

Flexibility and variety are key, so I would adapt each lesson based on learner needs, using student feedback to adjust content and pace. My aim is to create a supportive, enjoyable environment where students feel confident using the language from the very first lesson.
