Fayaaz Lakhani

I am currently pursuing an Economics degree at the University of Cambridge. I am a motivated and diligent worker, achieving 4 A*'s in A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Economics, and achieved 11 9s at GCSEs, including in both Maths and Further Maths.

I am eager to help others to navigate through the complex world of maths, and ensure that even the most difficult questions will be easily answerable through my guided, personalised tutoring sessions. I will have a plan for each lesson based off of the student's curriculum, focusing on areas which they are struggling with. These are, however, fully tailored and flexible to the individual student's needs, as everyone learns in a different way and benefits from focusing on different aspects of maths. I will happily work through difficult concepts and various types of questions to ensure that the student has an arsenal of techniques and experience going into their final exams, allowing them to maximise their chances of reaching the grades that they want.

I have helped many children through both GCSE and A-Level mathematics, and have been able to successfully aid in grasping key concepts and applying them in the ways required by the exams. Oftentimes, it is similar topics which people find most difficult to tackle, and this experience has allowed me to narrow these down and work out the most effective ways to provide advice and support to make them less daunting.
