I am a Foreign Language Teacher, my approach centers on active communication. I really believe that speaking the targeted language from day one is the fastest way to build confidence and fluency.
I tailor every lesson, for some students, I focus on real-life conversational scenarios/role-play while with others, I break down complex grammar step-by-step.
I typically start by reviewing previous knowledge, dive into an interactive activity or grammar topic, and spend the second half practicing it through conversational tasks.
I use real life-conversations with the essential vocabulary learners will actually need in day- to- day life.
I started my professional path in Ecuador, where I used to work as a Primary Teacher. Later on, I settled in Spain, where in 2015 I validated my teaching qualifications at the University of Malaga, within the Faculty of Education Sciences. In 2018 I moved to the UK, where I have had the opportunity to teach adults. Working in diverse environments has taught me that every learner is unique, regardless of age; understanding their learning paces gives teachers the opportunity to enhance their skills and achieve realistic goals. I am fascinated by the cultural exchange that comes with language learning. I truly believe that learning a language it is not only an academic process, but an human one: it is about gaining confidence, expressing oneself and connecting with others.
My goal is for students to feel comfortable using Spanish in real-life situations from day one, enjoying the learning process and developing confidence to communicate naturally.
