My lessons are structured but flexible — we start each session by reviewing what's still unclear from last time, then work through new content using clear explanations, real diagrams, and simple analogies rather than dense textbook language. I like to check understanding as we go by asking you to explain concepts back in your own words, so I know it's actually sticking, not just memorized.
For exam-focused students, we work through past paper questions together and I show you how to structure answers examiners actually want, focusing on common mistakes and how marks are actually awarded. For younger or foundational learners, I slow down and build concepts from the ground up using everyday examples, keeping sessions interactive rather than one-directional.
Between sessions, I'm happy to set light practice work and review it together next time, so progress compounds instead of resetting each week. I also adjust pacing based on how a topic lands — if something needs more time, we stay with it rather than rushing to keep to a fixed schedule.
I hold an MS in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics from LUMS and a BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology, with tutoring experience across IB Diploma Biology, primary-level science, and undergraduate peer mentoring. Lessons are one-on-one, paced around you, and focused on building both understanding and confidence, whatever your starting point. Outside of lessons, I'm always reachable for quick questions, and I genuinely enjoy watching a concept finally click for a student who's been struggling with to understand those concepts.
