Faiza Noor

I am a fully qualified Science Teacher, teaching all three sciences to GCSE, and Biology and Chemistry to A Level. I have been teaching in UK schools and colleges for the last fifteen years. I have worked with children with special needs, such as dyslexia, and my lessons are tailored to each student's needs. My knowledge in both Science and particularly in Psychology has helped me to enhance students' cognitive skills so they can easily retrieve and process information, especially in complex areas. I work hard to improve my students' children's grades, and have helped many students with below-average grades to achieve higher grades.

I make sure my students understand the concept well before moving onto exam questions, as well as setting them work to build on what we have done together. Furthermore, I use real life scenarios, linking them with scientific knowledge to improve their understanding. My passion and dedication towards my profession has helped my students to improve their learning and reach their full potential. Most of my students have achieved higher grades in both GCSE (8/9) and A level (A/A*), helping them reach challenging careers including Medicine, Engineering and Psychology. With all of this in mind, I build a good relationship with my students, boosting their confidence, which is vital when pursuing their careers.

I have worked as a Science Lecturer at colleges, where I used a range of strategies that helped my students to achieve 100 % results in their core subjects. I have worked with children with special needs, such as dyslexia.
