Hey! I’m really passionate about English, and I love helping primary and secondary school kids (up to current year groups) build strong skills and feel great about their work. I know that every child learns differently – some love stories and creative writing, others need a bit more support with spelling, grammar or reading. That’s why I tailor each session to what they need and what interests them. For younger learners, we’ll use games, colourful activities and fun stories to bring words to life. With older kids, we focus on making tricky topics clear and manageable – whether it’s improving their writing, understanding texts, or just feeling more confident using English day-to-day. I take the time to get to know each student, so I can work at a pace that suits them. No rushing, no making anyone feel like they’re “behind” – just patient support and encouragement to help them reach their goals. I’m happy to work with families in Derby, either in person or online if that’s more convenient for you. I truly believe every child can thrive in English – I just want to help them find their way with it!
