My lessons are engaging, personalised and designed to make learning feel less like a chore and more like something students can genuinely look forward to. I create a friendly, patient and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

I have experience tutoring many children and supporting them in preparing for competitive entrance and selective school examinations, as well as helping students build confidence in their everyday Maths learning. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual ability and goals, combining clear explanations, practice questions and interactive activities to keep learning enjoyable.

While achieving academic progress is important, I also pride myself on being a mentor and a positive role model for my students. I aim to create a safe space where they feel listened to, encouraged and supported. My goal is to help students not only improve their Maths skills, but also develop confidence and a more positive relationship with learning.

I am particularly passionate about helping students who may feel that they are “not good at Maths”. I believe that with the right explanation, encouragement and approach, every student can make progress. I am patient and willing to explain something in different ways until it genuinely makes sense, rather than simply moving on when a student is struggling.

I also understand that children learn differently. Some students need repetition and structure, while others respond better to challenges, games, examples or visual explanations. I adapt my approach accordingly and regularly check that the student is following before progressing to something more difficult.

I bring a warm, enthusiastic and encouraging personality to every lesson. I want students to leave each session feeling proud of what they have achieved, even if it is something small. Building that confidence is just as important to me as improving their grades.

Ultimately, I want my students to feel that they have a tutor who genuinely believes in them. I am not simply there to teach a subject; I am there to encourage, motivate and support them throughout their learning journey.
